没有 (méiyǒu) for past negation

Bié shuōhuà!
Prohibitive 别 (bié) = don't (imperative)
不用谢。
No need to thank me.
Bùyòng xiè.
不用 (bùyòng) = no need to
这个多少钱？
How much is this?
Zhège duōshǎo qián?
Question word 多少 (duōshǎo) = how much/many
你有几个兄弟？
How many brothers do you have?
Nǐ yǒu jǐ gè xiōngdì?
Question word 几 (jǐ) for small numbers
你觉得怎么样？
How do you feel?
Nǐ juéde zěnmeyàng?
Question word 怎么样 = how is it
你是老师，对不对？
You're a teacher
right?
Nǐ shì lǎoshī
我不知道他去哪里。
I don't know where he went.
Wǒ bù zhīdào tā qù nǎlǐ.
Embedded question (indirect question)
不能不做。
Must do it. (lit. Can't not do it.)
Bù néng bù zuò.
Double negation = strong affirmation
