Direction words follow the main verb

VERB + DIRECTION extends the meaning with path or result.

đến/tới mark arrival at a destination

VERB + đến/tới + PLACE = reach a place by doing verb.

I go to school. (reaching school)

Xe chạy tới bến.
The car drove to the station.
📝 chạy (drive/run) + tới
được as resultative = successfully accomplish

VERB + được means the action was successfully completed.

I managed to understand.

Was he able to finish it?
